Film To Table Series: Inspired by “The Hunger Games”
November 12, 2023
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the “Hunger Games Culinary Adventure!” While we won’t be facing off in the arena, we are about to embark on an epic journey through the flavors and dishes inspired by the world of Panem.
In the Hunger Games series, food plays a vital role, representing both sustenance and decadence. From the humble but hearty fare of District 12 to the lavish feasts in the Capitol, the cuisine of the Hunger Games universe is a captivating blend of contrasts.
In this class, we will channel our inner Katniss or Peeta as we explore recipes inspired by the districts, each with its own unique ingredients and stories to tell. From rustic bread and stew to decadent Capitol confections, we will create a menu that captures the essence of this dystopian world.
So, get ready to ignite your culinary skills, celebrate the resilience of the human spirit, and immerse yourself in a Hunger Games-inspired feast that is nothing short of extraordinary. May the odds be ever in your flavor!

While we try as hard as possible to accommodate each group of friends, students learn in teams of three or four, so there may be times where a member, or members of your group will join other teams. We promise you won’t be far and it’s also a great way to make new friends.
