Let our chef guide you through the amazing “black roux” and the “holy trinity” that help create the deep flavor of Gumbo, Louisiana’s most famous bayou dish. Remember to bring your favorite bottle of wine for the after class feast!
Created by the descendants of French-Canadians, then combined with the flavors of Jamaica and the Caribbean, this uniquely rich and flavorful cuisine was born. It is one of the most distinctive styles of American Cuisine.
